One thing that I do not hear discussed is the reasons why you even need a website. In my consulting work, I will frequently ask if the client is sure that they need a website.

Support Betachurch.org

BetaChurch.org is a project brought to you by The Noah Institute. The Noah Institute’s mission is to help the church with design and technology. Your donation will go to NI and you will be helping to fund this project and many more.
BetaChurch is looking for five things to support this project. Each are described below and include a contact if you are interested in supporting the project. All of the positions are volunteer. A quick note, we hate spam. Don’t you? Please go to the contact us page to find emails. They are all encoded and protected. Thanks.
- Writers - We are looking for ghost writers. You need to have at least one year of experience writing in published media, along with readily available sample URLS. Other examples of work will be fine, too. You must be prepared to agree to our Creative Commons license. Please contact our editor-in-chief, Jason Gallic. (contact)
- Designers - We are looking for talented designers. Please only contact us if you are practicing web standards and have examples of your work available online. You must be prepared to agree to our Creative Commons license. Please contact our producer, Dave Merwin or our art director, Stephen Hallgren. (contact)
- Technologists - Ok you geeks, put your knowledge-base philosophy to the test. Send us your ideas, projects and solutions and we will edit the content and get your stuff published. You must be prepared to agree to our Creative Commons license. Please contact our producer Dave Merwin or our art director, Stephen Hallgren. (contact)
- Researchers - Lots and lots of facts. If you spend a lot of time on the Internet anyway, perhaps you could research some stuff for us. Put your sleuthing gifts to work. You must be prepared to agree to our Creative Commons license. Please contact our producer, Dave Merwin. (contact)
- Funding - Yeah, we need money. This is all very expensive. High-quality designers and coders cost money. Just having the site online costs money. If you are able, please contribute. Seriously, every penny counts. If you paypal (the instructions are below along with a paypal button) us, please know that there is a two percent fee for that convenience. If you have any questions about funding, please email our producer, Dave Merwin. (contact)

- After clicking “Pay” you will be shown that your transaction has been completed. Click “Done” and that is it!
Of course, if this is all too complicated, you can always mail us a check!
Please make your check payable to The Noah Institute and write BetaChurch in the memo.
