One thing that I do not hear discussed is the reasons why you even need a website. In my consulting work, I will frequently ask if the client is sure that they need a website.

Apple’s Next iTunes will Support Podcasting

Why is this a big deal? Because Apple has made it VERY easy to download and listen to music legally. The now have 70% of the market. So, using the same software and delivery system they will now be supporting podcasting. Your podcast (read sermon, journal, interview, any audio file) will be accessible by millions of users.
We will keep on top of this and let you know how it is gonna work.

Can I just say that Apple ROCKS! Seriously, there really isn’t any extremely good way for integrating podcast content. It usually requires an extra program that isn’t usaully capable of playing audio.
I’m pumped that I will soon be able to have it all in one convenient program, iTunes.
Teevio May 27th, 2005 at 9:43 amYeah, but will they be mp3’s or iTune digital rights managed files? Right now you can put your tunes in but you can’t get them back out…as a podcaster I’m not sure how this will work with my files?
Tim Bednar May 27th, 2005 at 11:42 amCurrently iTunes will handle imported mp3’s and burned CD’s without DRM, and only the music purchased from the iTunes store has DRM built-in”. Wouldn’t it follow that it would be the same for podcasts? If you are purchasing a podcast from the iTunes store it would have DRM, but if it is from another source it would be unprotected?

How will it be possible for us to podcast. What do we need to do this for sermons, journal entries…etc.
