One thing that I do not hear discussed is the reasons why you even need a website. In my consulting work, I will frequently ask if the client is sure that they need a website.

ColourMod is a flexible and dynamic color picker/chooser that functions similar to Photoshop’s color picker.
ColourMod comes in two versions, a Dashboard Widget version for OS X Tiger and a “plug-and-play” version ready to be implemented in any XHTML application.
A portion of all ColourMod proceeds will be donated to The Noah Institute.

ColourMod, developed by The Noah Institute’s Art Director, Stephen Hallgren, is the first of its kind in the dynamic color picker world.
There are currently two versions of ColourMod. One version is designed specifically for OS X Tiger’s new Dashboard Widget interface. The other is meant to be used as a plug-and-play color picking interface for web applications.
ColourMod, as a widget, allows the user to choose colors via a color selector, similar to Photoshop. Hex, RGB and HSV values are updated dynamically as colors are selected. The values can be copied and pasted into any application of choice. Along with color selection, ColourMod can also convert Hex, RGB, or HSV values back and forth, while displaying the updated colors.
The plug-and-play version is made specifically for the internet. It is quick and easy to add to any web application that requires a user to select colors. Once ColourMod is implemented, users can select colors and see their selection updated dynamically. ColourMod also allows for textfields to be updated with the corresponding Hex value.
