One thing that I do not hear discussed is the reasons why you even need a website. In my consulting work, I will frequently ask if the client is sure that they need a website.

I Am In Love With Bloglines

Bloglines is a web based news aggregator. And it is very well done. I work on several machines, and I subscribe to over 25 blogs and sites. It has always been difficult to keep all the subscriptions straight. Transferring files, or resubscribing to the same site over and over.
Because Bloglines is web based, I do the subscription once, then I can read it anytime. Very nice. Another bonus is that I can “share” my subscriptions with others, so people can see what I am reading and me theirs.
Another great tool is, if you add a subscription, simply enter the website URI. Bloglines will look at the site and tell you what feeds are available. On some of my old favorites I found brand new feeds!
If you have no clue what I am talking about, no problem. Read this article at mezzoblue.
Very well done site.

whole-heartedly agreed! I, too, work from no less than 4 computers and bloglines has simplified my consumption of any site with an RSS feed. Then I publish my “blogroll,” or “reading list” to my own blog automatically.

Are you interested in new technologies and how they impact ministry and faith? One of the best websites I have seen around dealing with these issues is BetaChurch.org. Check it out: Technology :: Helping The Church With Design And Technology…
