Project management and task management software: Basecamp

It is safe to say at this point that The Noah Institute is a big fan of all things AJAX and Web OS. We believe in the potential of these ideologies and subscribe to the potential.

As an example, I give you Basecamp. We use this online project management ap to handle all of our projects and administrative tasks. It is a great way to unite the team and move projects from a standstill to productive.

Basecamp is a fee service. You pay monthly to use the product. It is by far the most useful monthly fee that I pay. I use it for my consulting clients as well as for The Noah Institute.

Ultimately, a tool like this is only as good as the data that you put into it. If you can train your team to use a tool like this, you will be going a long way towards creating an online, collaborative environment.

One Response to “Basecamp”

  1. I certainly prefer Basecamp to .project (dot-project). Essentually they both do the same things but .project it much more clunky. Thats probably because its free…
