One thing that I do not hear discussed is the reasons why you even need a website. In my consulting work, I will frequently ask if the client is sure that they need a website.

Create Software Tutorials for Free
written by Blake Atwood

Wink is freeware that creates software tutorials exported to flash (swf), an executable (exe), or PDF. You can add commentary to each screen capture/movie with either text boxes or your own voice. This is an ideal solution to software tutorials as it allows you to play and pause a video while simultaneously recreating its steps.
Suggested Uses:
-
Show your website users how to fill out a certain form, or what’s available at the site, or what’s new and exciting.
-
Make software tutorials for those people in your office who continually hound you with questions that seem basic to you.
-
Offer simple tutorials on your site for your members covering basics like email, Word, Outlook, or Excel.
And yes, Wink comes with a couple of tutorials on how to use it, using their own software to show you how to do it. (In this case, it helps to actually read the ReadMe file).
Hopefully, we here at BetaChurch can make use of this software as well to give you better ways to utilize your software for your church.
