You need to be using Backpack.

Backpack is by far the coolest personal organization tool that I have ever used.

Today, it all got cooler. Backpack has added 2 new features. A calendar and voice memos. I’ll tackle each.

The Calendar.
ABOUT TIME! I want it added to Basecamp, but will take it here. It is not as feature rich as Google calendar, but for personal stuff, it is great. Even if I am using 2 calendars, it is still an added bonus to add the calendar here.

The Voice Memos.
VERY cool. You sign up, add in the information, and in minutes you can be sending voice memos with your cell phone. You can list 3 numbers right now, so I added my cell, home, and my wife’s cell. Now I won’t forget to clean the gutters or pay the taxes! The memo shows up in minutes. I would love to see a notice tool added so you can now you received a message.

The service is being provided by celltell. Their service is amazing. I somehow messed up the sign up process and didn’t know it. They emailed me to tell me that they saw the error and that they had fixed it. Well done.

I pay $5 a month for the basic plan. It’s worth every cent. Especially if it helps me stay focused and moving forward.
