One thing that I do not hear discussed is the reasons why you even need a website. In my consulting work, I will frequently ask if the client is sure that they need a website.

Nothing Cooler than Kuler

I’m enthralled that more and more free web apps are coming from the big names like Google and Adobe. Adobe is poised to release a free web-version of Photoshop and an online version of Premiere has already been created, although it’s known as YouTube’s Remixer. But even cooler than those apps is Kuler. Kuler allows you to create, upload, view, vote on, search, tag, or generally be enamored by color schemes. It’s a web or print designer’s dream tool. For the webdevs out there, download the desktop Kuler app if you haven’t already (you will need an Adobe ID). You’ll be able to browse the schemes and get the hex code. As a content guy more than a design guy, this site has already proven it’s worth to me. So, do we have any Kuler users out there already?

Kuler is definitely pretty cool. You should really check http://ColourLovers.com. It has been around for many, many years longer that Kuler.
